Event Cinemas are looking for enthusiastic and passionate students, keen to join our Cinema team. The Cinema is a really exciting place to work but the team take their jobs very seriously! Our School Based Traineeship Program is a fantastic opportunity for you to work, earn and learn while studying a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
With two programs currently available; SIR30216 Certificate III Retail or SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality, this is ideal for those looking to increase their opportunities, gain the practical and theoretical skills to succeed in a service environment and potentially earn points towards your School Certificate (discuss with your School Advisor). You will also receive your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol, Food Safety Supervisor and First Aid, which are highly regarded certificates within the qualification.
These traineeships are only available to students entering Year 11Ìýand requires a 24 month commitment from you. Successful trainees must be available to work during the week out of school hours, be available weekends, school holidays, Blockbuster Events,Ìýplus an additional day every 6 - 8 weeks for the theory training day which is held onsite at the Cinema.
